She filled the application and found that 100 other applicants did the same thing. Traditional thinking usually tells us to fill the application, go home and hope for the best. Creative thinking leads us to a different behavior.

The student in this case realized she needed to do something special. She spent the next two hours going through the various departments and writing down some notes. When she finished, she called the personnel manager from her cell phone. “Sir, I have in my hand a list of ten places where I can be of help to you right now. Would you like me to come up and show it to you?”

The personnel manager realized the special talent and dedication the applicant had, and he offered her the job.

It’s a misconception to think of creativity as necessarily an offbeat or crazy way of behaving. As this story illustrates, creative thinking can be a very practical way to gain advantage in business and in personal life.

What is "Great For Life"? But many are still wondering how to become rich and doubting themselves – will they be wealthy or not.

Friends, do a fast check on yourself and be honest: are you on the road to wealth? Or heading toward no where? If you have the ambition to become rich – you are on the road to wealth. Then I am sure that you are dedicating your life to become a rich and a respected person. If you have other ambition (like want to become a doctor, engineer, teacher or just a well-do life) – you have 50-50 chance to become rich. You are actually dedicating your life to study to work for other people, to make their life easier and richer. If you do not have any ambition at all – then you will never be rich. You are dedicating your life for short term comforts.

Are you gearing up for wealth? What you do that will make you rich? Running your own business? Doing multi level marketing? Selling insurance policy? Writing book? Learning new things that you think will make money? Mixing with rich people, hoping that you will be offered to become their business partner? Study hard to get high paying salary job? Are you sure about these/this?

Actually, no one but God knows what we do that will make us rich. Everything can make people rich including garbage collection service, funeral services business and scamming people over internet (I am not advising you to do this), but only certain people will be rich in those things. Why? Big money comes to the right people at the right time at the right place. People: there are many soon to be rich people and rich people. Time: there are always the right time – every second million dollars are changing hands. And place: people can become rich anywhere – locals or non-locals.

To ensure that you are the right person, you need to have the right ambition, the right attitude and the right preparations. By having all these, you already have the license to drive your own way on the road to wealth. Not your parents or your teachers or your boss, but yourself driving your own wanna-be-rich life.

To make sure that your time will come – you must never give up and must not lose hope in becoming rich. If you fail, please try again or try the other ways – never stop trying. This will ensure that you will be rich – never too late and never too early. Do not worry too much – you will be there anyway.

Recapping what had been said earlier, no one but God knows what we do that will make us rich. You must never stop learning new things and acquiring new skills. One of them or some of them will make you rich or richer. Remember, we all developed different characters, interest, having different life’s priorities, limitations and so on – thus only some people can be successful in each fields. Try things that suit you.

You are recommended to test and to push you limits once in a while, when you are fully ready for it. No body knows when you time will come and you are at the right place, right? Remember, success is 99% effort and 1% luck. That’s mean if you happened to be testing your limits – with all out efforts – at a “big moment” or your “lucky time” or “lucky investment”, you will be rich! Do not predict your lucky time or predict what you do that will make you rich or richer. Just do what it takes!

What is "Great For Life"? As I am writing this article, the temperature outside there is approximately around 30 centigrade. It is super hot outside there! Anyway, something had just caught my mind – I am thinking why our public transportation is not doing well. There must be something that could link this hot weather and the unpopular public transportation at my place. It is true that owning a car is quite cheap nowadays (in my place) but I strongly believe that the car price tag alone is not a strong reason why public transportation is not so popular. There are many other reasons – including hot weather, surprisingly!

Let me give you one simple example: why my place cannot have Double Decker bus? Because the weather here is too hot!

I have been in Sydney when I was small. I like the weather there very much. I miss the comfortable 18 centigrade weather. I still remember the scenes where my family was waiting for bus there. Those days were sunny days too but I still feel comfortable. The bus arrives at that bus stop, near the place where we were staying, every 15 minutes but actually I did not mind waiting for an hour – in that nice weather.

Here I even sweat in my home due to the sunny hot weather – even at night, when the heat radiating from the earth is trapped by the clouds. I only dare to travel in my own air-conditioned car. Everywhere I go, even to the shops, which are just a 3 minutes walk from my home, I still use my car. Imagine myself going out of a space station in a space suit! Without that specially designed space suit I might be evaporated by the sun rays in minutes. Well, I do not believe that I am the only people here having this weather problem.

The bus service here is not frequent too, once every half hour, and sometimes the bus did not come at all! And then the weather is too hot. Believe it or not, we even sweat under the roofed bus stop. If you are unlucky, the bus that you are waiting for maybe does not have functioning air-conditioner – there you are! The journey from home to bus stop and from another bus stop to work or shopping place is very challenging – walking under the sun (with temperature around 30 centigrade). At the end of the journey, you surely need a glass of cool water.

Yes, I can opt to use taxi instead but one 10 minutes ride cost me a lot. Give you a simple math: 15 times of 10 minutes taxi rides is equivalent to one month car installment of my car (like most of our people here I bought my car using bank loan). If I do not have a car, I even loosing more money!

Do you think the same? Perhaps you can leave a comment and tell other people what you think.

What is "Great For Life"? Many people would say that it is not safe and they could lose all their money in their account. I don't blame them. Personally I prefer to logon to my bank account from my office rather than from my home PC because I have better trust in our IT experts (of my company) than myself in protecting the PC against malicious programs.

But nothing could hinder me from favoring the online banking. It has more things to offer to me than those which could make me dislike it. Online banking has changed my life! Whether you like it or not, online banking is the future - you have to do it sooner or later.

My friend, our world is getting too fast. Our daily life moves too fast. We simply cannot negotiate with inefficiency anymore, not like what we used to be in the past. Modern life demands efficiency in whatever we do. Now, this 'efficiency' is what online banking can offer to you. Ask yourself, do you like to que up at bank counter? Not me. Yes, many banks have deposit machines nowadays but I rather do other things which are more beneficial than paying bills. You see, when I pay bills, I am actually spending money - this is wrong - I need to advocate most of my time making money, not spending money! Time is money. While I do my things, like when I am waiting my Excel to calculate the cells (lets say it took a long time to complete the calculation) - I would surf internet and logon to my account and pay my bills! It is like cooking while my washing machine is washing my cloth!

Perhaps I would tell you more on how to overcome the safety / security problems in doing online banking. Now I want you to know what we can do with online banking, what services we can get through online banking. The following are examples of what you can do through online banking:

fund transfer

pay bill (utility, satellite TV, internet services, insurance, city council bill, phone bill, securities, education fee (tertiary education), web hosting, golf club membership, etc)

prepaid reload

buy shares (IPO)

fixed deposits

new application: deposit account, credit card & loan/financing

You see, how much time you can save? How much problems (like traffic jam, hot weather, etc) you can avoid? And you know what, most of the banks I know do not charge service charge for online banking unlike over-the-counter services (because they need to pay the bankers/counter-officers).

The conclusion is you will like online banking.

What is "Great For Life"? Whenever you are planning (from plan A to plan Z) what you will do, let say tomorrow, you are programming your mind. Mind can be programmed and you are the programmer!

Successful people are good mind programmers. They set rule and abide their own rule – discipline. They always think positively and have confidence in whatever they do – they seem to know what they need to do in any situation. Whatever you see today – the civilizations (like TV, internet, car, radio and etc) and the job opportunities – are created, designed and provided by them. These people also influence and inspire other people to be successful too.

Most of us are average mind programmers. We enjoys our own small successes in our daily live. Our kids excel in their exams. We get promoted due to contributions. We get praised for helping elderly walk across the road. We are happy to come early or on time to church. These are examples of good mind programming. Half of us are constantly reprogram ourselves in order to be successful in our own way. We try many types of side incomes. Some adventure into full time business. We also try to copy the “good program” of successful people when we read their books to learn how to be as successful as them or try to mix with as many as possible of these good mind programmers so that we can get a piece of their good program.

But some people are bad mind programmers like drug addicts, lazy-bones, closed-minded people such as extremists, etc. They have malicious programs – the viruses – that have spoilt and are spoiling the society. They give bad influences to other people. Most of us would avoid these people because they could harm us. But some of us let ourselves to be influenced and thus programmed to be like them. Drug, for example, is a very strong virus – very hard to erase the addiction to it once you taken it.

But there is always possibilities for everything – good programmers can suddenly become bad programmers; and bad programmers can become good programmers. You see, there are some ex-drug addicts become successful businessmen; and also some businessmen went bankrupt and lost hope on raise again. Anyway, this writing is about how to become good mind programmer and be successful person.

Sadly, some of us believe that we were born not to be successful because our great grandfathers were farmers; our parents were ordinary persons; and so on. Well, actually we do not inherit any mind program from our parents; but the truth is that we were constantly being programmed by our parents and society when we were young. Farmers’ children also can become politicians, businessmen, rocket scientists and any successful careers too. Why? Because we need just a little tweak in our mind program – ‘I must do anything as long as I am getting better’. That should be the first line in your mind program. Second line should be ‘I can and able to do what ever necessary to be a better person’. The third line should be ‘I must avoid anything that can ruin my life’. Then you may add your specific rules, priorities, plans and so on.

These first three lines in your mind program are the basic of positive thinking (can do it spirit). The first line tells you to move forward; and to foresee a better future of yourself. The second line tells you that you can and able to move forward. The third line tells you that you must avoid negative thinking and anything that could harm you.

Positive thinkers are people who always busy feeding their mind with beneficial things and hopes. These good thoughts make them wiser and more confident. They can see futures in everything they plan and do. They are diligent and passionate doing things that are required to achieved success. They have a big room for patience. Positive thinkers always have missions and visions; and targets. They love actions and hate doing nothing. They judge anything new to them – they avoid anything that will bring no ‘real’ benefit to them like drinking, smoking, casual sex, etc. Thinking positive is not just doing anything and feeling good about doing it, right? Everything must have reasons, strong reasons.

Positive thinkers know their strengths and weaknesses. They do not deny their weaknesses but see that their weaknesses are getting lesser and lesser. Like some maybe thin or fat but they see that they are getting sexier; some are always not lucky but to them they are just not lucky yet; and some are poor but positively put all their efforts and hope on their children. Positive thinkers acquire and use well their resources (spouses, children, friends, workers or subordinates, systems and others) to boost their strengths and to cover their weaknesses. Successful people may not be smart people but their managers and workers are the best in the field.

Positive thinkers are open-minded and never look down on other people’s potentials; but they keep comfortable distant to negative thinkers (including “slow” people) and negative influences (drugs, extremists’ speeches or brochures, etc). Negative thinkers and negative influences might exert bad programming into them. Most importantly, negative thinkers may also give physical harms to them. All these right actions are their firewalls against bad programming. While avoiding negative thoughts, positive thinkers also constantly reprogram themselves through motivational readings and talks; positive religious speeches (for example about strengthening family ties); and so on to reassure themselves that they are on the right track to success. These are their anti-virus.

After these three first lines in mind program, you might add your other programs to execute your own success plans. Your programs should make you a more efficient person. Examples of these programs or sub-programs are:

Be punctual – how: set priorities to any plan and appointment; have a watch; etc

Look smart and appropriate – how: wear specific clothes for specific functions

Never stop learning – how: read, listen and look around

Respect other people – how: knowing that everyone has their own potentials

Mind programming is possible. If done positively, it could make you a very successful people that all people would remember or at least a better person. Take sometimes to program yourself, to unleash your potentials, and be diligent doing it. Apply these three steps: run anti-virus, setup firewall and reprogram – I mean, get positive thinking though self-awareness (internal source) and motivational readings, speeches, consultation and so on (external sources); avoid negative thinkers and negative influences; and lastly reprogram yourself for success!

What is "Great For Life"?
